NIGHT LIGHT, 1998, 7’ 9” X 26’ X 38”, light wire, colored plastic mesh fabric, wood and metal, bell sound. Giordano Gallery, a satellite gallery of the Islip Art Museum, New York. The solo installation was a companion exhibit to The Light Show at the Islip Art Museum.

“Night Light” is an environmental installation. It consists of a continuous child-like drawing created in light that encompass the four walls of the gallery space. Images of clothes on a line, boats, pails, shovels, etc. make up the drawing. Mesh covering the light creates a shifting vision as the viewer passes by. The three- dimensional light-line drawings in space of two houses and a chair float in the center of the gallery.
